Transforming Africa’s digital backbone

Our Group CEO, Chris Wood, recently shared his insights with Capacity Magazine, on how WIOCC has continuously played the role of a key catalyst for internet growth in Africa throughout the last 15 years, investing over $500m in creating open access, hyperscale digital infrastructure for Africa. This has been achieved through strategic investment in key subsea and terrestrial systems enabling delivery of end-to-end managed wholesale connectivity services to cloud operators, content providers, telcos and internet service providers.
