At the recent International Telecoms Week (ITW) event in Washington DC, USA, we unveiled a new tagline, Africa’s Digital Backbone, that more fully captures our positioning and strategy going forward. This evolution of our corporate branding represents our organisation’s evolving role in Africa’s digital ecosystem. As the leading carrier-neutral infrastructure provider on the continent, WIOCC is continuing its pan-African expansion of hyperscale digital infrastructure across multiple countries and this, together with its ongoing investment in enhancing national and metro fibre network reach and capacity, underpins the ability of a wide range of local and international operators to deliver high-speed connectivity to their customer and to end-users.
